A Bridge of 830 meters long has been built in the city of Laï in the south Tchad to open up this region to cross a tributary river of lake Tchad. This bridge was known "Djidingar Dono N'Gardoums' bridge" the name of this eminent man, several times minister and first minister of Tchad. Also commissioned by the state, I realize his bust, unfortunately, from photographies because he died in 2005 ; his son agree the similarity. Two pieces are displayed at each entrance of the bridge on two pedestals out of black marble, which are 3 m. high.
I plan the busts'hights from those of the pedestals ; I made little bigger the scarifications to be well seen from the ground .
