Materials : Lime wood coating by my self but painted by a artist painter - plywood
I was commissioned by an artist, Jacques The Automaton, who's play with his wife, dressed in marquis and marquees, a front a street organ ; he has ask me to decorate it, and he needed two automatons dressed like them ; These automatons play music chinking little bells :
- To ring the bells the motion of the automatons comes from the blow in smalls bellows ; usually these bellows are visible from the back, but I didn't follow that way (you can see it on the pictures) : a pipe is into the leg of the marquis and its bellow in the chest and for the marquees, in the dress.
- For the over decorations, I have created two niches for the automatons; I have drawn and carved anything ells in the ancient fair style ; the lime wood very good to be painted.
