Title: Faunesse and her little Faun – certainly late Renaissance or early 17th century – lime wood. The first four photos show the original state. The restoration: the following photos follow the conservatory orders, made of the same type of wood The Composition Work: I proposed as a complement and in the form of a clay model (painted), a third (smaller) Faun and the complement of the base for better stability of the work – the client was keen, I sculpted this little Faun and the mother's hand – the whole was stained, varnished, waxed and patinated.
